Free opt-out guide · updated October 2026
Remove yourself from MyLife
MyLife publishes a profile about you built from public records and data it buys. You can ask them to take it down at no cost. Here is exactly how, and what to expect.
What MyLife shows about you
- A 'reputation score'
- Age, address, relatives
- Court and arrest record flags
- Reviews left by others
MyLife has no self-service form. Removal is by email request, and they typically ask you to verify identity.
How to opt out
- Search for yourself on MyLife and copy the web address of your profile page.
- Email privacy@mylife.com from an address you control. Include your full name, age or birth year, current city and state, and the profile URL you copied.
- Ask them to remove your record and confirm by reply. Keep it short and factual.
- Expect a request to verify your identity - they may ask for a partial ID. Redact everything except name and photo before sending anything.
- If there is no reply in ten days, send it again and note the date of the first request. MyLife is slower than form-based sites.

It comes back. Opting out removes the listing they have now. It does not stop them rebuilding one from the next batch of public records, and most people-search sites do exactly that within a few months. Put a reminder in your calendar for 90 days out and search again. Two or three passes is normal.
Or hand it off
Every opt-out on this site is free. The catch is there are hundreds of these sites, most of them re-list you within months, and each one wants its own form and its own email confirmation. If you would rather not do it yourself, Online Reputation Repair does the broker cleanup for you.
RepCheckr is affiliated with Online Reputation Repair, a paid removal service. Every manual opt-out on this site is free and works without it.

Other sites that probably have you too
If you are on MyLife, you are almost certainly on these. Same records, different storefront.
